Stephen Prather

Board Member

Stephen grew up in Atlanta, GA and attended Vanderbilt University on a baseball scholarship. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt, Stephen worked in Washington, D.C. for Senator Jim Bunning and Congressman John Shadegg.

Stephen met his wife, Emily, in D.C., and through her, he met and formed a relationship with Jesus Christ. Emily and Stephen married in 2005 and both earned their MBA from Vanderbilt University in 2007. They have four girls: Virginia, Grace, Caroline and Cora.

For the past 14 years, Stephen has worked as a commercial real estate broker with the Charles Hawkins Co. He is also the co-founder of SportSource Analytics, a sports analytics company focused on college football.

Stephen and his family have been members at Grace Chapel for the past six years and were previously members of Forest Hills Baptist Church for ten years, where Stephen was a Deacon.
