Romeo Pelle

Rhetoric School (Upper School)

Romeo Pelle was in Oradea, Romania. Although he was raised in a Christian church, he left the church and was indoctrinated by the materialistic agenda of the Communist Party that was ruling Romania at that time.  After his military service, he was baptized in water. He enrolled in an underground Bible School (BEE) that functioned illegally in Oradea, Romania. In 1988 he became a youth minister in a church serving over 5,000 people and about 1,500 youth in attendance on Tuesday Youth Nights.  After the fall of Communism, he came to the US in 1990 to marry Rodica, his wife of 33 years, who emigrated with her family in 1980. God blessed them with 4 girls: Ramona (a TCA parent married to Eduard Manea and parents to our grandchildren Zion, Thea, and Esmae); Priscilla (a new TCA parent married to Florentin Ghita and parents to their grandchildren Ruby and Ivy); Julia (married to Robert) and Brittney (soon to marry later this year). He served between 1990-1992 as a youth leader. In February 1993, they helped plant a new church in Troy, Michigan

While working as a maintenance manager for Chrysler Corporation from 1993-2008, Dr. Pelle volunteered his time in assisting the senior pastor in preaching, teaching, counseling, and leading. In 1997 he enrolled at William Tyndale College, earning a B.R.E. (Bachelor of Religious Education) in July of 2001, and in October 2001, he enrolled at Union Institute and University and earned an M.A. in Counseling Psychology in October 2003. In December 2008, he left his job with Chrysler and took a full-time position with Bethesda Church as Minister of Education and Family Care.  In this position, he oversaw the educational processes of children, youth, and young adults, and the marital welfare of married couples, focusing on young couples. It was his responsibility to create and/or approve the curriculum for Biblical studies at all ages in the Children’s Ministry, Sunday School, and Youth Ministries. Soon Dr. Pelle returned to his education and enrolled in the M.Div. program at Liberty University, completing the program in 2012.

In February 2009, he started the Marriage Mentors Ministry (within Family Care Ministry), whose goal is to fight back the demonic assault on marriage and to minimize divorces in our community. Feeling that God was leading him to pursue a Doctor of Ministry program to continue his spiritual formation, the development of his leadership skills, and the sharpening of my ministerial focus, he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation in 2017, with a focus on embracing, mentoring, and raising the young generation of the local church to attain their God-given spiritual calling and potential.

Following an unfortunate heart attack he suffered in May 2022, Dr. Pelle stepped down from his pastoral duties at Bethesda Church and moved to Franklin, Tennessee, last September.  He looks forward to dispensing his calling to invest in the young generations and expand the Kingdom of God in their hearts and lives at Trinitas Classical Academy.
