Carson Sensing

Carson Sensing and his wife Wendy have been in Moscow, ID for almost six years and now call it home. They’ve been married for 28 years and have been blessed with seven children, one grandchild and one due in June. All of their children have either completed or are currently receiving a classical Christian education.
Born and raised in Nashville, TN he decided to leave Tennessee and go to the University of Mississippi where he graduated with a degree in Business. Before returning to Nashville to work in the family business, he spent a year working at Mercer University in Macon, GA as an intern for Reformed University Fellowship, a college ministry of the Presbyterian Church in America. While in Macon, he met his wife, Wendy. It was a good year!
He then returned to Nashville and began a nearly twenty-year career in business. In addition to business, Carson and Wendy also helped start a classical Christian school of which he served as the headmaster for two years and also helped plant a church. After sending two of his kids to New St. Andrews College in Idaho, the family decided follow them and made the move in 2014.
Carson serves on the Board of Directors for New St. Andrews and The Classical Academy of Franklin in Tennessee. He’s previously served on boards for the Nashville Area Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Slavic Reformation Society, the Highlands Ministry, ENCO Materials Inc. and was a deacon for over 20 years. In addition to working on their small farm, Carson enjoys cooking for groups as small as his family or as large as 800. He also enjoys snow skiing, motorcycling, camping, guitar, sound equipment and wood working.
