Teresa Pace attended Michigan State University (MSU), located in East Lansing Michigan. As a student there, her life was placed on a new course. A course directed by God. She gave her life to Jesus Christ during her freshman year at MSU. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. She also received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at MSU. Upon graduation, she spent the next two years interning at the University of Tennessee, doing a small animal internship. Upon completion of her internship, Teresa moved to Atlanta, Georgia to practice as a Small Animal Clinician.
Three years later, she moved back to Knoxville, Tennessee to marry her wonderful husband, Darryl Pace. While in Knoxville, she continued to practice veterinary medicine until her first daughter Olivia was born. Teresa answered the call to be a stay-at- home mother and raised her three kiddos. After 15 years, she then decided to dip her toe back into the work force and began teaching at Columbia State Community College. She began teaching at The Classical Academy two years ago. She truly appreciates the opportunity of being able to teach at a Godly classical school. She says: “It’s been an honor and I am thankful and grateful for this wonderful experience.”
Her life verse is Joshua 1:9, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord God Jehovah is with you wherever you go.”
