Maria Nicolucci holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Xaveriana University in Bogota, Colombia. She loves languages and she has been learning different languages since she was a little girl. Maria studied Spanish, English and French when she was at school; then studied Portuguese with some missionaries from Brazil, and later learned Italian when she met her husband.
After working for the corporate world in companies such as Coca Cola and Colgate/Palmolive and the evangelism ministry at her local church, she felt God’s calling to work in the mission field. In 2008, God brought Maria to the U.S. for and she started working as a volunteer coordinator for the Big Evangelistic outreach in the city of Charleston SC, where she met her husband and together, they started working in the mission field in different states.
She and her husband still have a heart for missions and are always open to the call of the Lord, wherever He may lead them. Maria came to TCA by way of enrolling her son in 2016 and started teaching Latin and Spanish here, as well. Her life verse is John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him may have everlasting life.”
