Kristie Browning

2nd Grade Teacher

While growing up in Dover, PA, Ms. Kristie Browning was the little girl you would find playing school during any free time she had. This was a passion God had laid on her heart early in life. After graduating with two bachelor degrees from Wesley College, Elementary Education and Middle School Education, Ms. Browning taught in the local public school for several years before staying home to raise her four daughters. Ms. Browning became enamored with the classical model of education while homeschooling her own children. Planning to relocate to the Franklin area, she attended TCA’s open house and immediately felt God’s peace that passes all understanding. Knowing that this was more than just an educational institution, Ms. Browning looked forward to having her eldest three daughters enter the program and looked forward to seeing what doors God would open for her as well.

God has used a tangible application of her life verse, Romans 15:13: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit”, during a major transition in her life. Now Ms. Browning fills her days as the second grade teacher at TCA and has recently achieved her M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University. In her spare time, Ms. Browning enjoys planning trips that may never get taken, scrapbooking and playing with her rowdy German shepherd, Ruger.
